The Policy Research arm of YCIC focuses on highlighting civic education and youth civic engagement bills that largely go unnoticed and deserve more attention and support. Concise and nuanced research overviews better inform our Policy Advocacy team to prioritize issues that are urgent.

House Bill 3012 

Bill Title: Relating to voting in school district elections. 

Summary: Permits an individual who is 16 or 17 years of age and registered to vote to cast a ballot in school district elections.
